OTH Podcast 1: Second Generation Military Design

Welcome to OTH’s first podcast! For this debut episode, we brought together a group of experts to discuss the subject of one of our most read articles: The Military Design Movement: Drifting Towards Embracing Uncertainty and Transformation in Complex Environments. The author, Ben Zweibelson, continued the conversation in a recent piece for Small Wars Journal advocating a new, more flexible strategy design paradigm to better address the increasingly complex national security problems we face. In this podcast, Ben and a group of military strategy thinkers discuss the evolution of military design methodology, new ideas within the design community, and how we might bridge theory to practice to more effectively deal with complexity and the uncertainty it brings.
